I discovered the field of sonography during a high school career project and was immediately captivated after learning what the profession entails. From that moment on, I focused my studies toward preparing for ultrasound school and ultimately moved to Anchorage from my hometown in Canada to pursue this goal.
I believe the privilege and responsibility of being a sonographer extends far beyond performing detailed, thorough, and diagnostic examinations. It includes listening to patients, advocating for their needs, providing comfort and reassurance, and collaborating closely with medical teams to ensure the highest level of care. Patient comfort and compassionate care are extremely important to me, and l am honored to be part of each patient's journey when they enter my exam room.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Alaska's incredible and diverse landscapes with my dog, and am grateful to call this beautiful state my home.
